Finished my novel draft!

March 23, 2014

This is what it looks like when I have finally, finally finished the first draft of my novel. The word count is a bit lower than I was aiming for but I’ll get there when I flesh some parts out a bit more during the editing process.

I started the project in March of last year and finished it this afternoon. I wrote it using Apple Pages, some index cards and Index Card for iPad ($4.99 but I highly recommend it).

Why yes, reader, I am terrified of the editing process. Thanks for asking.

But for right now, at least I can say that I finished a book and enjoy that satisfaction. Finally. FINALLY! Frig, I’ve only been trying since I was, like, 10 or something.
