Hello there! This is my first scrapbook page of 2017 and the second I made with the help of my new Silhouette Cameo.

It’s likely the “cleanest” layout I’ve done maybe ever and I’m quite pleased with how this page turned out. I decreased my floral embellishment use and used a lot of gold, something I don’t tend to do normally. I also hand-stitched the border. The letter borders were out out on the Cameo and then backed with pattern paper. It’s a bit flatter than a lot of my layouts but it’s got more than enough sparkle to make up for it.

This tiny, funny little moment from the chaotic day was caught by our photographer and it’s honestly one of my favorite photos. The frantic look on my face as my sister-in-law tried to shake the bug out of the bug that had crawled up a layer of my dress while my niece supervises—it just makes me laugh.
