Hope everyone’s Christmas and New Year was as good as mine. I got so many goodies and treasures. I can’t stop playing The Sims: Medieval. It is yet another nerd haven.

One of my favorite gifts that I received is a mandolin. She needs some work- there’s a crack in the front, a missing string and a missing tuning knob- but she’s beautiful. Her name is Guinevere. I’m not really the musical type, but I sat down and learned to play all of “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” last weekend without looking at the tablature.

Next goal: “Soft Kitty” from Big Bang Theory.
